Hyundai... Cherokee?

It’s a bit more... zokusha than I expected.

Looks like a Dodge Caliber...

More like a Chinese copy of it...

NOPE

Korean. Jeep has it’s own market in China. Jeep is literally the Chinese copy of Jeep.
And I wouldn’t be surprised to find shared body & drivetrain components between the two. Chrysler/Hyundai/Mitsubishi alliances aren’t unheard-of.

Yeah that I know, but I mean the overall design looks more like some local Chinese shop did it.
And Chinese copy of Jeeps are actually BAIC... look up BAIC BJ40.

Looks more Citroen than Jeep to me.

Yeah, that’s very bad.

Basically a cheapo plastic clad i20
Oh, and here’s the “active” version, with less of that cheapo bumper cladding.
So I guess no one has shot the dumbass that came up with the idea to make all cars with fake floating rooves yet - grreat!

I
can
see the resemblance.
Plot twist- They’re all the same car.

Good call on the BAIC, thanks for pointing that out.
I mean, I don’t think the Kona looks bad ... or at least, not any worse than the Cherokee.
Or the Citroen Cactus, for that matter.

Well that’s . . . not what I expected. I was expecting something more conservative, like the i30. I have to say that is the worst plastic cladding I have ever seen.
